In this regard, Mr. Pierre Loing, Vice President for North American product planning at Nissan visited the Busan plan on his attendance at the ceremony event for initiation of its exports to North America, and said “The plan for introducing the new model in Korea shall not be disclosed.”

Nissan’s new Rogue is being assembled at the U.S. Smyna Plant, the Renault-Samsung’s Busan plant, and Nissan’s Kyusu plant in Japan, and the Kyusu plant for the Japan’s local sales, while the Busan and Smyna plants are for sales at the North America and South America markets.

The new Rogue is 4600mm in its length, 1840mm in width, 1695mm in height, 2706mm in wheelbase, and so is a bit larger than Hyundai’s small SUV Tucson.

In the meantime, Nissan Korea will introduce the European-style small diesel SUV Qashqai in the Korean market, while the existing Rogue has been receded from the market this year due to sluggish sales.
